We had light clouds to begin with, but then it cleared up and stayed photometric from 06:00Z till morning. At 09:40Z, we switched to spectroscopy and obtained signal on cartridge 4 (plate 2695), but did not finish the plate. Excellent seeing throughout the night. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon checkout went smoothly. Spectro collimation set for ~5C. Night: ------ 23:15Z - Started ventilation with doors and louvers open, fans on. 23:30Z - Mounted imager. Changed imager dewer. 00:08Z - Closed doors in enclosure to take the on-telescope bias. 00:15Z - Imager bias. Run #7126, frames 8 - 36. 00:38Z - Opened enclosure. 01:00Z - Supernova scanStripe 82S. Started focusLoop. Run #7127, lambda_start=106.5, frames 8-32. Frame 32: best focus at -480 and skippy is happy. Seeing ~1.0" 01:26Z - Start of ramp. Lambda = 113, frame 51. 01:34Z - Start of science. Lambda = 115, frame 65. 06:00Z - Skies cleared and became photometric. Seeing 1.0" 09:32Z - Science imaging ended at lambda -125, frame 866. 09:40Z - Ramp ended at lambda -123, frame 879. Ended drift. Switched to spectroscopy. 09:59Z - Cartridge 4, plate 2695 seguefaint162 mounted. Used fk5 to find field. 10:16Z - Precalibs. 10:24Z - 20min exposure. Seeing 1.0" 10:45Z - 20min exposure. 11:05Z - 25min exposure. 11:31Z - 25min exposure. 11:56Z - Tried to start another 25min exposure, but we had to abort it right away on account of the telescope being too close to the zenith (red zone). Please ignore this exposure in SOS since we were not able to use the endStare -abort command. 11:57Z - Postcals.
