Imaged 82 N from beginning (lambda 115) to end (lambda -125) in good seeing and mostly clear conditions, then finished plate 2712 and got signal on plate 2695. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- Ran byebye on MJD's 54401-54402. We took a post-cal to check the spectro focus, and did not change it. No problems noted during checkout. Night: ----- We opened at sunset for SN imaging on 82 N, startScienceLambda 115 01:21Z - Started the drift at lambda 110.8 Focus good by frame 25, lambda 113 (start of ramp). Skippy good from the beginning. There is an error in mu of -11.6 asec. Conditions were partly cloudy (light cirrus) with seeing averaging about 1 asec FWHM in all filters (i was subarcsecond). 01:39Z - Frame 36, start of science, lambda 115 04:30 - Mostly clear 06:00Z - Photometric 07:00Z - frame 550(approx.). Seeing started to become more variable. The focus loop struggled a bit, but the average seeing remained good, averaging around 1.2 asec FWHM. 07:30Z - Mostly clear to partly cloudy. 09:36Z - Frame 837, lambda -125 - end of science 09:45Z - Frame 851, lambda -123 - endDrift 10:07Z - Spectroscopy Cartridge 4, plate 2695 - seguefaint Needed a glint from an FK5 to find the field. Took two exposures totaling 2100s, then unmounted the cartridge because we were too near the zenith. This plate still needs two more exposures (6.0 S/N^2 more). 11:20Z - Cartridge 7, plate 2712 - segue bright This plate was finished (with some extra signal) in two exposures totaling 2100s after adding in the signal from previous nights.
