We had night with light cirrus but good seeing. Finished 4 plates (2883, 2956, 778, 2156) and obtained good signal on plates 2884 and 2838. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- I discovered no problems during the afternoon checkout. I put the DIMM's computer back in place this morning. No problems were found with the DIMM when I started it during the evening. The observers can feel free to use it. The spectro focus was checked but not adjusted; it's set for about +3 degrees C. The focus numbers via collimate are posted in the Problems Section. FSonGTF. 01:46 preliminary preCalib, which shows us that --we are out of spec, expected T=3C, but current 8.3C. Moved sp1, sp2 pistons on +3000 similar to yesterday's adjustment. 01:57 preCalib, ok now.
