The spectro focus was checked but not adjusted; it's set for about +7.0 degrees C. The focus numbers via collimate are posted in the Problems Section. I mounted cart 09. I adjusted the CCD camera alignment of the IRSC. We tried clearing the offsets and that didn't help. We tried spiral patterns with offsets of 5" and 10" over 2 loops each and still did not find the fk5. All fiducial crossings were fine. We checked the focus (relative focus -50) and it was fine for the temperature (~8C) compared with the previous night's values. We tried reloading the plate and going to the field and that didn't work either. We decided to mount another cartridge and see if we were experiencing a problem specific to this plate.
