Thanks. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- I discovered no problems during the afternoon checkout. The spectro focus was checked but not adjusted; it's set for about 0.0 degrees C. The focus numbers via collimate are posted in the Problems Section. Night: ------ We opened at sunset for spectroscopy. Cartridge 9, plate 769 - Old Legacy Used an FK5 and spiralPattern with 10 asec offsets during bright twilight to find the field. Took two 1500 s exposures. With the previous signal added in, this plate is done. 03:18Z - Cartridge 5, plate 2889 - SEGUE bright GSOGTF Guide fibers 7 and 9 had no guide stars. This plate took three 1200s exposures and two 1500s exposures and was declared done. 05:55Z - Cartridge 3, plate 2872 - SEGUE faint GSOGTF Clouds came in during the second exposure, but enough of the exposure was through clear air to make it useful. Took one 1500s exposure and one 1800s exposure. The plate is not done. 07:19Z - we waited for the clouds to go away. 08:14Z - While waiting, we did the monthly spectro biases and darks.
