The fk5 was found at A = -50 of the field and then centered. Our centering check placed the star at 778 and 533, which was very close the 776 and 533 in the current I_CA1_ENGCAM.DAT file. The sdssProcedure for axis position had old values, so it was updated. 03:05 We started the pointing model but had a too-large-to-correct fiducial error in Az on the first star. So, the grid was aborted, and the Az error corrected. 03:30Z We restarted the 72-point (default) grid. 05:15Z We completed and checked the pointing model.
