We started taking QE measurements on r-2, but only got ~ half way through before the sky cleared. We stopped the test and then went on sky. Note: The next time this test is done, start with lambda 567 exposure time 5.0sec. During the 2.5hrs we were open, we finished cart 2, plate 2952 and cart 9, 2950. Collimation is good for +7.6C (with cartridge 5) HDD cleaned of old data safe to remove: 54548, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, and 54555. 00:31Z opened louvers and doors, ventilation started. 00:45Z Ventilation stopped and louvers closed: high wind and dust count. Night: ------ We did not open at sunset due to high wind, high dust, and clouds. 03:41Z - Started ventilating again, but we still have thick oragraphic clouds to deal with. It cleared up everywhere, except right over the mountain. We were hesitant to start any cloudy night tasks at this time, just in case the sky cleared up all of the sudden. But after waiting for the clouds to clear for about half the night, we decided to proceed with imager calibrations. 07:27Z - Switched over to imager calibrations - QE test of 'r 2'. 07:34Z - MSP Bias - Run #7411, frame 1. This bias stopped in the middle. We have no idea what went wrong. 07:36Z - MSP Bias attempt #2 - Run #7412, frame 1. Same thing. We started a scrolling display, clicked 'All Chips', and tried one more time. 07:40Z - MSP Bias attempt #3 - Run #7413, frame 1. It worked normally this time. 07:44Z - Started QE test on 'r 2' - Run #7413, frames 2-21. 08:43Z - The sky finally cleared. We stopped the QE test early, so it will have to be finished later. The next time it is done, start from a lambda of 567, exposure time of 5.0 sec. 08:50Z - Opened enclosure. Changed cartridge to number 2, chunk186 plate 2952. The last time the spectrographs filled was 8 hours ago, so we only applied a force fill, but stopped it when the spectrographs filled ~20lbs. 09:18Z - No guide stars, nor a fk5 were found after the initial goToField. We cleared the offsets and then was able to find a fk5 star. 09:24Z - guiderFocusLoop: focus was way off... +250 at a temperature of 4.4C 09:26Z - Precals. 09:36Z - 15 min exposure.
