We never opened. We did not do test FF to imager as could not mount it on a telescope. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: --------- I was unable to restart the servers on MONX3. Whenever I tried `start_servers -K' I was greeted with an error that a font or color could not be found and the server windows would initially open and then immediately close on their own. We tried again after quitting the TPM to be sure that enough color values were accessible and again received the same error. When we tried opening another xterm, MONX3 hung and we tried to reboot it, but the reboot process timed out with `Host IP Address Timeout.' I started the servers through observer@sdsshost2 on landrupe instead. During the reboot process on MONX3, the rebooting hangs when the file `Xncdhmx' is attempted to be accessed on galileo, but fails after 10 retries. Fritz is aware of the problem. SoS would not reduce any of the spectro frames, but they exist in the /data/spectro/54660/ directory. The failed SoS reduction is due to a problem with the IDL site license being inaccessible since galileo was having problems. After I logged into SoS and ran `apo_plotbias,' I received the following reply: IDL 5.5a> % Timed demo mode has ended. Fritz talked us through editing the permissions of the fstab file on galileo II such that it could be read-write instead of read-only.
