We lost about a half an hour because an exposure never read out. Please see log under cart 6, plate 3146 for more details. Spectroscopy signal: Cart 4, plate 3128 Cart 2, plate 3133 Cart 5, plate 3116 Cart 7, plate 3043 - finished Cart 1, plate 2962 Note: For plate 3116, SOS successfully read out S/N values tonight. However, last's night's data is still having some trouble. BOSS Imaging: Stripe 69 N, from lambda 143 to 151 (106 frames). Mounted cart 4, plate 3128. Night: ====== 00:15Z - Sunset. 00:20Z - Opened enclosure to mostly clear skies. Force filled spectrographs (sp1 stops filling much sooner than sp2). --- 00:43Z - goToField cart 4, sgeue plate 3128. GSFOGTF. The stars in fibers 5 and 6 did not center up with the guider. 01:05Z - Precals. 01:12Z - 30 min exposure. Seeing 1.1" 01:34Z - Twilight ends. 01:45Z - 25 min exposure. 02:16Z - Postcals. This plate is not yet complete. --- 02:27Z - Mounted cart 6, segue plate 3146. GSFOGTF. 02:42Z - Precals (#56210-11) 02:51Z - 25 min exposure. Seeing 1.8" ... (supposed to be exposure #56212). Problem: The exposure never read out. The timer counted down to zero and then we got our prompt back in sop. 03:19Z - We took a spectro bias to see what the status was of the spectrographs. SOS counted this exposure as #56212. So, it's like the science exposure was never taken. We decided to start over from scratch. 03:26Z - Precals. 03:34Z - 25 min exposure. Seeing 1.2" No problems with read out this time. 04:02Z - 25 min exposure. 04:30Z - 25 min exposure. 04:58Z - Postcals. This plate is not done yet. --- 05:05Z - Mounted imager. There was an altitude slip when the balance was being checked. 05:20Z - scanStripe 69 N -startlambda 140. tccSetFocus -250. Altitude 38 degrees. 05:24Z - goDrift, run #7791. Skippy happy from the beginning. Note: nu error is 10.8 Focus happy from frame 22. Seeing 1.2" 05:34Z - Start ramp, lambda 143, frame 25. 05:42Z - Start science, lambda 145, frame 38. From lamdba 148-151, frames 58-78 and from lambda 154-155, frames 98-106 we had some clouds run through the field. 06:23Z - endDrift early due to clouds, lambda 155.5, frame 106. Labeled this drift as 'bad' since about half of the exposure had clouds running through the field.
