STUI actors alive, but Viktor could not get permission to set up v1_0_12 of the guider actor. Paul looked into the problem. Robert has a new version of the guiderActor running, and we don't have permission to stop it, so we will run with it for now, and hopefully it will work. No MARVELS plates were plugged for the first two hours of the night, so we gave the first hour after sunset to more spectro LED flat lamp work. For the second hour, we can do plate 3513A, which although not in Nathan's plan, is available. 23:20Z - Started building ventilation 00:18Z - Closed doors, kept fans on for LED tests Disk space: Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/sda3 142G 123G 12G 92% / /dev/sda1 99M 30M 64M 33% /boot /dev/sdb1 917G 835G 36G 96% /data sdssfiles1p:/data1/data 1.8T 55G 1.8T 3% /files hub25mp:/home 92G 58G 35G 63% /home_hub25m Night: ------- 23:27Z Turned on the ThAr lamp. 00:49Z The first hour of the night was used by Jimm and Natalie for some spectro tests. 01:30Z Enclosure off, topped-off spectro secondary dewars, checked top/bottom balance, did a test slew, checked fiducial crossings for each axis, and started the DIMM. 02:00Z MARVELS CALS; See Problem Section for list of all exposures. 02:10Z Cart 06, plate 3513, pointing B, field 1572, MARVELS. Fibers 27, 28, 82, and 83 were very faint. 06:45Z MARVELS CALS 06:54Z Lost a FF lamp; it was the top-right at stow position. 07:09Z Cart 03, plate 3633, pointing B, field FIELD1631. GSOGTF. This pointing only has three working guider fibers, viz., 4, 6, and 8. Fiber four, however, appeared as an out of focus donut as if the fiber had slipped from the focal plane. Completed one 50 minute exposure. 08:13Z Called Nathan about a schedule adjustment; his Night Plan page was corrected. 08:23Z MARVELS CALS 08:32Z Cart 05, plate 3089, pointing A, field FIELD1110.
