BOSS Imaging: Stripe 69 N from lambda 143 to -169.5 including ramps (run #8149-8150). This stripe is now COMPLETE. Stripe 70 N from lambda 170 to -172 including ramps (run #8151). Imager bias (run #8152). BOSS Spectroscopy: Cart 14, plate 3659. 8 exposures with seeing 2.5"-3.0" - DONE Cart 12, plate 3673. 1 exposure with seeing 1.6" The boss moveColl command failed while we attempted to move the spectrograph mechanicals (no error messages were given in STUI). We attempted to take more hartmanns afterwards, not knowing the mech controllers got disconnected. We lost ~1 hr due to this problem. Moved spectro mechanicals -13000 ticks in sp1 and sp2. 07:25Z - Attempted to take another set of hartmanns, but the exposures failed to be written to disk. We then tried to clear the exposure, but found that the BOSS actor failed. The exposures hung after the CCD's flushed and would not return to an idle state. We restarted the actor with stageManager, we loaded the wrong version initally. We went back and loaded the v2_0_5 verison. Then the BOSS ICC was happy, but sop was not. We restarted the sop actor and was finally able to take hartmanns. Craig diagnosed that the problem came from the boss moveColl command failing - the mech controller was disconnected.
