We observed 4 plates: 3615, 3639, 3658 and 3677. We declared as DONE two plates: 3658, 3677 and conditionally as DONE the plate 3639 with S/N = 21.5 for the R2. We asked Kyle about that plate. We got a problem with Alt motion: telescope stopped at position 89 degree during instChange at 01:14Z. Telephones consultation with Stephanie and Dan did not help. Interlocks suggest that wind baffle gets stuck. Following Dan's recommendation, we looked at indication on the windbuffle amplifiers and power cycled the wind buffle power box. The Alt amplifier shows "OU" - overvoltage. The symptoms are very similar to those happened when the power cable was thorn around January 2 (MJD 55198). We visually inspected the cables upstairs and in the lower enclosure but didn't see anything unusual. Dan Long arriver to the site at 4 am MST and started the local investigation. He checked impedance - normal - cables to the motor - nornmal. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- No problems at telescope. Cartridge 13 mounted. Guider 20-sec. dark, flat and boss 20-sec. dark taken. 23:30 enclosure ventilation started. We noticed icicles on the power rail closest to the enclosure. We weren't sure if they would interfere with a rail shoe, so we called Dan. Dan asked us to turn the rail heater to manual mode and wait a half-hour. At 23:30Z we turned rail heater in manual mode.
