We got one science exposure on Cart 16, plate 3751. The signal was very low although the sky was clear at that time. Completed Kyle's cloudy night task of flats, flats, and more flats. The cooling fan on the DIMM's CCD camera has died; I will look for a replacement tomorrow. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- No problems at the enclosure. Guider dark and flat taken. BOSS dark taken. High dust prevented starting ventilation. Cartridge 13 mounted. Guider actor was not available, but we didn't worry about it because Paul informed us he would be running the guider simulator. Night: ------ 00:32Z Sunset with clouds and radar returns; we waited. 01:48Z Opened doors and started fans 01:50Z Twilight end 03:20Z Enclosure off, topped off spectro dewars, did top/bottom balance check. 04:00Z Cart 16, plate 3751, BOSS. GSOGTF; seeing was about 1.6" as reported by the guider.
