We had watcher errors for all the imager dewars at 08:16Z but they cleared and didn't return until we ended the drift (see log for example error messages). We turned on the DIMM tonight. The gas was left on the stove top in the 'new dorm' so we opened about 5 - 10 minutes later than planned (see log). The monitor for astrometric 4 is so purple that it is virtually useless for looking at biases. What happened to the Holloman baffles? ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- No problems to report Night: ------ Non-photometric so we started with supernova imaging. 02:14Z Run 6286. On-telescope imager bias taken under dark conditions. 02:35Z The door to the 'new dorm' was open and we bumped into a guest that told us someone had left the gas on the stove. Somebody is staying in room 8 so Howard went in to check and nobody was in there. The gas was shut off and the door left open to ventilate. Howard called Wendell and he told him to call Mark Klaene which he did and left a message. This happened when we were ready to open the enclosure so we were 5 - 10 minutes later than planned. 03:07Z Strip 82 S, SN; Run 6287. Skippy happy at frame 10. Seeing ~1.4 03:10Z Lambda=116; frame 12. In focus. 03:16Z Ramp started at lambda=117, frame 19 03:24Z Science started at lambda=119, frame 32 (we think data is good from lambda=116, frame 12) ~05:57Z Some thin clouds started passing through
