We have completed the ET night program (cartridges 2,8,7,6, and 9). We have had minor problem with sop and could not transfer Cloud cam images with endNight. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: --------- The telescope is checked and prepared for observations. Tonight we use our new Mac computer at first time. Night: ------ Light cirrus, temperature 8C, wind up to 5 mph, humidity 30%. 01:30Z Started ventillation We will use manual controls for cartridge replacing. 02:54Z Cart 2 plate 8018. FSonGTF, One 50 min exposure. Seeing is 1.4", and foc=-50. 04:00Z Cart 8, plate 8021. Used fk5 to find the GS. Seeing 1.4", foc -25. 05:10Z Cart 7, plate 8022. We loaded cart/plate and gotoFiels. After that the guider did not work with error message: GMAKEHINST: "Flat exposure is too faint. Counts in fibers must be > 500". We had whis kind of error in the past but I could not find solution. Tried to stopMon and startMon again, and repeated goto filed. It did not work. Finally, I closed the sop session and started a new one, and it fixed the problem. We lost about 15 min to work with the problem. FSonGTF, seeing is around 1.0-1.2", T=8.8C, photometric. 05:36Z one 50 min exposure and one 50 min template exposure. 07:40Z cart 6, plate FSonGTF; Seeing 1.0", T=8C, foc=0.0 Made one 50 min exposure and one 50 min template exposure. 09:50Z cart 9,plate 8028 FSonGTF, seeing 1.1, foc=0.0, T=7.9 One 50 min exposure and one 50 min template. EndNight could not be transfer Cloud Cam images because we could not find the new password.
