Checked to see if guide fiber 11 on cartridge 6 was unplugged. It did not appear to be, so it's either really dirty or broken. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: The spectro collimation was adjusted. The numbers are in the Problems section. Night: Clouds, humidity and snow prevented opening. Last night, guide fiber 11 on cartridge 6 did not appear to be working. After discussion with Dan Long tonight, the side of cartridge 6 was opened and guide fiber 11 was examined. It appeared to be properly plugged. After discussion with Norm Blythe, the plate end of fiber 11 and the entire guide fiber termination block were cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a Kimwipe. Comparison of guide frames before and after the cleaning showed no change in fiber 11. Guide fiber 11 is either really dirty or broken.
