We imaged 82 N from lambda +111.5 to -123 (including ramps). We imaged 1356 N from mu +48.5 to +81 (including ramps). Had another Hartmann frame with a 3 sec exposure time. Watcher warned of an mcp communications timeout although we didn't find a problem. The imager server stopped responding and needed to be restarted. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- Telescope has been checked. All systems work fine. Spectro Collimation has been done and focusing on expected night temp. = +5.0 C. The PT has been checked. It works good; Biases and Dome Flats have been obtained. Disk space has been checked and cleaned. Now there is: to /files partition ~ 103 Gb and to /data partition ~ 333 Gb. About problem with interlock display at the telescope laptop: many thanks to Stephanie: she had closed the widow 'interlock' and open again through start new session of wacher. No more problems. 23:50Z Enclosure doors opened, fans and blowers on, louvers opened. Night: ------ One of the Hartmann frames (41141) had a 3 sec exposure time. Before sunset we mounted the imager and closed up the building to do an on-telescope bias (run 6483, 00:35Z). After the bias finished we removed the enclosure (00:55Z). 01:21Z Run 6484: Supernova, 82 N, start lambda +111.5. Pointing and seeing good from the beginning. In focus by frame 20 (lambda +113.1). Twilight ended around 01:45Z, frame 38 (lambda +115.9). A stretch of "bad" seeing (1.5" - 2") between frames 259 and 299 (lambda 149.0 to 154.9) but "good" otherwise. The drift was ended at frame 847 (lambda -123) because we finished the strip. All data should be good. We got the following warning from the watcher regarding mcp/tpm communications: timeout (Last packet: 2006-10-23 07:01:31Z : 2006-10-23 07:05:53Z) but we noticed no problems (i.e., the mcp appeared to be working properly). We got the following from watcher regarding the imager server: server is not responding (Last packet: 2006-10-23 09:48:21Z) We restarted the servers. Photometric, no moon and good seeing conditions allowed us to continue imaging. 09:51Z Run 6485: Segue, 1356 N, start mu +48.5. Everything good from the beginning. The drift ended at frame 224 (mu +81) due to twilight. All data should be good.
