Setting up your webspace on NERSC
Pick a name $USERNAME for your webspace, ideally the same as your username on NERSC.
- cd /project/projectdirs/sobs/www/users/
- mkdir $USERNAME
- chmod g-w $USERNAME ; chmod o+rx $USERNAME
Next, populate this new directory with your index.html and other files and
directories that you want people to have access to. Set permissions such that
the user, the group and "others" have read access to these files and you should
be good to go.
Your webspace can then be accessed from:
https://portal.nersc.gov/project/sobs/users/$USERNAME/
